Paenibacillus polymyxa (USA patent)

Product specification:

1×109 cfu/g paenibacillus polymyxa WP

Appearance: yellow-brown powder

Product feature:

A new type of microbial fungicide pioneered in the world has obtained invention patents in China & USA . Its effective ingredient paenibacillus polymyxa, is adsorbed on rice hull powder, which has a broad spectrum of bacteriostatic or bactericidal effects. It is the most ideal fungicide for controlling soil borne diseases such as bacterial and fungal diseases of plants (continuous cropping diseases).

This product is a non-toxic, pesticide free, residue free, pollution-free, and fertilizer effective biological pesticide, especially suitable for the prevention and control of soil borne diseases (continuous cropping diseases) and leaf diseases of plants. It has a good inhibitory effect on bacterial wilt, soft rot, bacterial angular spot, and fungal diseases such as melon wilt, root rot, gray mold, and phytophthora.

Patent characteristics:

The mechanism includes location competition with phytopathogens, production of broad-spectrum antimicrobials, and induction of plant host defenses by biocontrolling strain Paenibacillus polymyxa.

a) Paenibacillus polymyxa can strongly colonize in roots, stems, and leaves of the plants, so it can prevent the phytopathogens from attacking plants by location competition.

b) Paenibacillus polymyxa in the affected plants and their rhizosphere can produce broad-spectrum antimicrobials continuously, which can kill or inhibit growth of phytopathogens.

c) Paenibacillus polymyxa can produce chemicals that induce plant resistance to phytopathogens.

d) At the same time, paenibacillus polymyxa can not only produce growth promoting substances, but also have the functions of nitrogen fixation, phosphorus dissolution, soil loosening, etc. This is an important mechanism for this product to have biological fertilizer functions such as promoting growth and increasing yield for plants.

Applications:

organic vegetables, melons, pepper, eggplant, medicinal materials, tobacco, fruits, flowers, lawns, etc.

Techniques for controlling leaf diseases:

Before or at the beginning of the disease, spray 500 to 1000 times the liquid, once every 7 to 10 days, and continuously use it for 2 to 3 times.

When foliar spray, it is better to mix it with foliar fertilizer (such as humic acid, microelement fertilizer, etc.) and plant growth regulator (such as brassinolide, etc.).

Cautions:

1. The spraying should be carried out in the evening. If there is heavy rain within 24 hours after the spraying, it should be applied again after sunny days;

2. During root irrigation, the dilution ratio (i.e., increasing the concentration of the liquid medicine) can be appropriately reduced according to the soil moisture condition to ensure that the liquid medicine can be fully absorbed by the root soil;

3. This product can be used in combination with basic or hole application of organic fertilizer, biological bacterial fertilizer, and chitin, rooting agent, nematocide, and foliar fertilizer to significantly enhance the control effect and promote crop growth. However, it is not suitable to directly mix or use together with chemical pesticides to kill bacteria, otherwise the effect may be reduced!
